Part 1 Conversation 

Listen to the conversation with the following Questions.

1. Do the guests have a reservation?

2. Is there a double room available?

3. What kind of room does the guest have atlast?

(R: Reservationist: G: Guest)
R: Good morning, sir. How may I help you?G: We would like to have a double room with bath for tonight.R: Do you have a reservation, sir?G: I’m afraid not。R: I’ll check if there’s a double room available. … I’m sorry, sir. None are available at the moment。

G: Oh, that’s too bad.

R: We do have a suite with a very good view of the city. The cost is 488 Yuan including two breakfasts.

G: That sounds good!

R: Could you fill out this registration form, please?

G: Sure. I’ll take care of it.

R: Thank you. How would you like to pay?

G: In cash.

R: There is a 700-yuan deposit.

G: OK. Here you are.

R: Thanks. This is the receipt and here is the key to Room 226. The bellboy will show you up along with your luggage. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay here.

G: Thank you very much!
