Conversation
Listen to five short dialogues.Decide what problem each dialogue is about and put the right number (1-5) of the conversation under the problem.听五段短对话。确定出每段对话是关于什么问题并将对话的正确数字(1-5)写在问题下。
(E:Employee;G:Guest)1.G:I can’t get the TV in my room to work.E:I’m so sorry.I’ll send someone to help you as soon as possible.2.E:Good evening,sir.Did you ask to see me?

G: Yes. I asked your waitress to bring me a cup of hot water, but she must have forotten.

E: I’m sorry, sir. I’ll bring you a cup of hot water at once.

3.E: This fish is too salty and has an odd taste to it.

G: I’m awful sorry. I’ll change it right away.

4.G: The laundry returned my T-shirt with a burn on it.

E: I’m terribly sorry. According to the hotel policy, we’ll pay for it.

5.E: Good morning, how may I help you?

G: I’ve been waiting in my suite for twenty minutes, but my luggage hasn’t been sent up yet.

E: I’m sorry, sir. I’ll see to it right away and call you back.

 

(E:员工 G:客人)

1.G:我房间里的电视不能用了。

E:我很抱歉,我会尽快派人来帮你的。

2.E:晚上好,先生。你要见我吗?

G:是的,我让你们的服务员给我拿一杯热水,但她一定是忘记了。

E:对不起,先生,我马上给您拿杯热水来。

3.G: 这鱼太咸了,而且味道怪怪的。

E:非常抱歉,我马上给您换。

4.G:洗衣房退给我的T恤有个烫伤痕。

E:非常抱歉,根据酒店规定,我们会赔偿的。

5.E:早上好,有什么可以帮您的吗?

G:我在套房里等了二十分钟了,但是我的行李还没有送上来。

E:对不起,先生,我马上处理好给您回电话。

Study the following useful tips about room move.学习以下关于换房间的有用技巧。
Live Move: Room changes with guests present are considered Live moves”.现场移动:有客人在场的房间变化被视为“现场移动”。1. Start the room change.开始换房间。

2. Provide key and luggage assistance.

提供钥匙和行李帮助。

3. Call the bellman to change the room.

叫行李员去换房间。

4. Update the record.

更新记录。

5. Inform relevant departments.

通知有关部门。

 

Dead Move: Room move is done when guests are not present.

死搬:房间移动是在客人不在场的时候进行的。

1. Advise the guests they must pack their luggage.

告诉客人他们必须收拾行李。

2. Handle the package.

处理方案。

3. Handle the unpackaged. If guests want to be “Dead moved” and the luggage is not packed, the hotel staff will be unable to move due to security procedures and liability issues.

处理未打包好的行李。如果客人想要“死搬” ,而行李没有打包好,因为安全程序和责任问题,酒店工作人员将无法移动。

4. Make the new room key and keep at the front desk.

制作新房间钥匙并保存在前台。

5. Advise the room status to guests.

告知客人房间状况。
